“Producing watts in XC: unexpected efficiency and high pedaling performance” - RIZER RIVAL 2.0 test by VTT mag, France

18.04.2016

VTT Mag, the leading French MTB-focused Magazine, has recently tested and expressed its valuable opinion about the RIZER RIVAL 2.0. The bike Review was performed by Stéphane Guitard and Stéphane Kiefer and published in the issue Nr. 303, dated April 18, 2016.

“The aluminum frame’s front triangle is thoroughly thought and treated, including the top tube with “Ridges” on the sides; the rear triangle is however pretty basic and a little bit outdated”. (Swiss Cycle Groups AG comment: absolutely new and advanced rear triangle has been developed for 2017 range).

“Long stem of 90 mm, flat handlebars and very low rider position makes that RIZER RIVAL is certainly not a bike for recreational or comfort riding, it has been designed to produce watts in XC.”

The test editors are emphasizing the bike “reactivity and performance at accelerations which are the result of a very rigid frame and efficient wheels.” As the other side of the high performance the “limited comfort” was noted. “No doubt, the RIZER RIVAL has really been thought to drive fast, head down to handlebar, on not too much demanding terrains.”

As final conclusion, the bike offers an “excellent price/equipment/performance ratio”.
