“Unapologetic very reactive with brilliant responses to the decisions”: RIZER RIVAL 3.0 in-depth analysis by SoloBici, Spain

26.04.2016

The leading Spanish bike magazine SoloBici has fulfilled a deep and complete test of RIZER RIVAL 3.0. The test has been performed by Ruben Perez, the review was published in the issue Nr. 300 dated April 26, 2016.

“The geometry of the bike invites for the fast pedaling, but has a good compromise between sportiness and comfort.” “The tapered headtube and hydroformed chainstays with an advanced curvature at the height of the wheel in order to get in stiffness of the rear triangle” have been noted as well.

“While the angles of the head tube and seat tube are exactly same as Scott Scale 27.5, the bottom bracket 1 mm higher, toptube 5mm shorter and chainstay 3mm longer. The bike remains aggressive however gets slightly softer behavior. If we remove the Headtube spacers we radicalize our position much because of the short Headtube of 100mm only. This makes that bike responds brilliantly to our decisions.”

“By its compact wheelbase and its wheels 27.5, Rival 3.0 is a very reactive bike. It is especially comfortable on twisty terrain or alternating grounds with constant climbs and downs.  Ease of acceleration and good overall rigidity makes that works very well in this type of terrain”.

“Thanks to its equipment the bike will satisfy both recreational and competitive riders and allows going for the demanding rides without any limitations”.

“The adventure limits are set by you, since the bike has everything you need to have fun”.
